Father I’m glad You are so big
in ways I cannot dream
larger than all the universe
visible yet unseen

concerned about our puny lives
our hurts and hopes each one
that You gave Your most precious gift
Your only begotten Son

for all the injustices wrought
by evil oppression
You take care of each believer
promises we rest on

though life is hard while on this earth
You know what we go through
Your eyes are upon the righteous
rewards are waiting too

nothing escapes Your attention
each minute thing is known
man’s welfare is Your great desire
Your will to him is shown

by the living and written word
Your wisdom far exceeds
in having every answer for
the grace to meet man’s needs

then our hope is ever present
as faith in God is real
how God is really Lord of all
His majesty revealed
